Welcome to Our New & Improved Website!
Welcome to the website of Dr. Bob Alexander and team. Here in our office we believe that good things in life begin with a smile. So when you are in our office you'll see lots of smiles. We love what we do, and it shows! Likewise, your dental health and your smile are our top priority. All of us are dedicated to providing you with the personalized, gentle care that you need and deserve.
Part of our commitment to serving our patients includes providing information that helps them to make more informed decisions about their oral health needs. This website is a resource we hope you'll find both useful and interesting, it is constantly "under construction."
In our practice we use proven dental techniques to improve not only our patients' smile, but also their general oral health. We do this in a private and friendly setting. -- We do not schedule multiple patients at the same time, when you are in our office, you have our full attention! We use the highest quality materials and the best laboratories to provide you with the highest quality dental restorations -- functionally and esthetically. It is our goal to make you feel at home and comfortable in our office!
We believe in treating the whole patient. In order to do this, we converse with you to determine your goals and needs, and inform you of the conditions in your mouth as well as possible treatment options and outcomes. Once we have agreed on a treatment plan, we utilize a comprehensive approach to integrate advanced procedures, predictable principles, proper function and our experience to achieve a very high level of treatment success.
A recent survey by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry found that most people believe that an attractive smile makes a positive difference in how a person is perceived. (Note: My personal opinion is that an attractive smile is not necessarily a 'Hollywood Smile." I believe our smile should be in harmony with our face-shape, complexion, personality, and other personal factors. --- Dr. Bob)
Anyway, here's the result of the survey:
92% of adults agree that a beautiful smile is an important social asset.
88% say they remember a person with an exceptionally attractive smile.
85% say that an unattractive smile makes someone less appealing to others.
75% say that an unattractive smile can negatively influence a person's career.
Probably more important, many recent research and published articles have linked dental disease with several systemic diseases.
Your smile is one of your most important characteristics. It conveys volumes of information about who you are. Youthfulness, friendliness, trust, confidence, success and health (especially health) are all illuminated by a smile.
Everything is possible. Comprehensive dentistry is within reach of the average American.
Please allow us the pleasure of discussing your wishes
